Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ACEURA (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use aceura.com and the ACEURA mobile apps.

1. Who we are

ACEURA is a tennis and pickleball league platform for players and league managers. Contact for privacy questions: support@aceura.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account & profile: name, preferred name, email, phone number, password (stored hashed), profile photo, ACE/player ID, sports preferences (Tennis / Pickleball), skill ratings, and address fields used for account and league operations.
• League activity: leagues and tiers you join, match schedules, scores, standings, playoff participation, availability windows, partner/team associations, and substitute requests.
• Communications: chat messages in match, group, league, and friends threads; in-app notifications and related delivery status.
• Payments & membership: subscription plan status, quotes, and payment records processed by Square (we do not store full card numbers on ACEURA servers).
• Device & technical: IP address, browser/app type, approximate device info needed for security, push notification tokens (e.g. Expo/APNs/FCM), and optional crash/diagnostic data if error reporting is enabled.
• Sign-in providers: if you use Google or Apple Sign-In, we receive the identifiers and profile fields those providers share with your consent.

3. How we use information

• Provide leagues, matches, standings, chat, calendar alerts, and account features
• Authenticate you, secure accounts, and prevent abuse
• Process memberships, league fees, and related billing via Square
• Send transactional notices (scores, schedule changes, chat, payment confirmations)
• Improve reliability (diagnostics) and customer support
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising tracking in the current apps.

4. How we share information

• Other players & managers in your leagues: name/preferred name, photo, ratings, team associations, scores, and standings as needed for competition.
• Service providers: hosting/infrastructure, database, Square (payments), push delivery, email delivery, and optional crash reporting — only as needed to run ACEURA.
• Legal: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

5. Data retention

We keep account and competition records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for league history, billing records, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Chat and notification data may be retained for operational and moderation needs. You may request deletion (see below).

6. Your choices & rights

• Update profile, sports, photo, and privacy-related friend settings in the app or website
• Control Face ID / biometric unlock on your device (optional; credentials stay on device)
• Control notification permissions in iOS/Android system settings
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@aceura.com from the email on your account, or use our account deletion request page. We aim to process deletion requests within 7 days, subject to legal retention needs (e.g. completed payments).

7. Children

ACEURA is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact support@aceura.com and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS/TLS in transit and access controls on production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and keep your sign-in details private.

9. International users

ACEURA may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the service, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
